Apply for the Beyond the Blue Ribbon Award
The Beyond the Blue Ribbon Award was created in 2001 by two Wisconsin organizations whose missions focus on preventing child abuse and neglect: Wisconsin Children’s Trust Fund and Child Abuse Prevention Fund of Children’s Hospital and Health System.
In 2010, the organizations will present a $1,000 cash award to an agency in Wisconsin for educating community members about child abuse prevention through the Blue Ribbons for Kids awareness initiative during Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month in April. Up to one additional award may be presented based on the number of applications received. The award Winner(s) will also receive a certificate for $50 in Blue Ribbons for Kids materials.
If your organization is interested in applying for the 2010 Beyond the Blue Ribbon Award, download the award guidelines and application below.
The Beyond the Blue Ribbon Award is Ending
In 2010, the Wisconsin Children’s Trust Fund and Child Abuse Prevention Fund will end the Beyond the Blue Ribbon Award. Instead, the two organizations will be launching a new initiative to fund successful child abuse prevention marketing strategies both in Wisconsin and nationally.
